Section II Assembly of Diesel Engines
Diesel engine diesel engine assembly quality will directly affect the dynamics and economy of the diesel engine. For this reason, the assembly must be performed in strict accordance with the technical requirements of the assembly process.
The main technical requirements for diesel engine assembly are: to ensure the correct fit and appropriate clearance between the relative moving parts; to ensure the reliability of the fixed parts; to achieve a timely and accurate dynamic balance; to ensure the cleanliness of the components in the assembly process.
First, the general assembly procedure
The general assembly procedure for a diesel generator diesel engine is as follows;
1 difficult work before the diesel engine assembly. Before assembling the diesel engine, gaskets, asbestos paper, electrician's knife, wooden hammer, kilo-force wrenches, and simplifications shall be used for gaskets, exhaust pipe gaskets, cylinder head outlet pipe mats, water pump and cylinder head outlet pipe joints. The assembly-related parts, tools, and various gaskets, such as open-end wrenches and box wrenches, are all designed to prevent the lack of space between the east and the west during assembly, and strive to achieve perfection. For parts that should be cleaned, dusted, and rusted, they must all be cleaned.
2 diesel engine parts assembly. Component assembly is the assembly of parts into assembly parts or components in accordance with certain technical requirements. The assembly work of the diesel engine is mainly the assembly of the piston rod assembly and the cylinder head assembly.
3 The total assembly of the diesel engine. The final assembly is to prepare the assembly or military component from the inside out according to certain technical requirements and order. During the assembly process, the relative positions of the spare parts and the fit clearance should be taken into consideration, and the oil and water tightness tests should be carried out, such as the seal tests relating to water and oil, such as cylinder liners, water pumps, airframes, and cylinder heads.
4 Check and adjustment of the diesel engine after assembly. After the total assembly of the diesel engine, valve clearance, timing of timing and timing of fuel supply shall be checked and adjusted. After completion of the above work, test the machine.
II. Assembly and Requirements of Diesel Engine Components
The assembly of diesel engine parts is a complex and meticulous task. It must not be missed and misplaced. The torque used must be appropriate. The following takes the 135 series diesel engine as an example to introduce the parts assembly process and related requirements of the diesel engine.
1. Assembly of cylinder head assembly
The assembly process of the cylinder head assembly is as follows:
1 First clean the parts to be assembled with gasoline or diesel oil and dry them, then set the cylinder heads sideways, wipe a small amount of oil on the valve stems, and fit them into their respective valve guides, as shown in Figure 3-31. Which cylinder part belongs to which cylinder should be loaded. Generally, the parts of the cylinder should be marked when disassembling.
2 After placing the cylinder head flat, install the valve lock spring in the method shown in Figure 3-32.
3 Install the valve spring as shown in Figure 3-33.
4 Install the valve spring upper seat as shown in Figure 3-34.
5 Press the valve spring L seat with a special tool, install the valve lock clip (see 团 3-35), and then remove the special J: tool. After the valve is installed, it is also necessary to carefully check the installation position of the valve lock cylinder and the lock spring.
After all valves are assembled, the fuel injectors are assembled.
6 Before fitting the injector, apply a small amount of oil or butter to the copper washer to prevent the copper washer from falling into the injector hole during assembly. The injector assembly method is shown in Figure 3-36.
7 Slowly place the fuel injector into the injector water jacket, and then use an open-end wrench or box wrench to lock the retaining nut, as shown in Figure 3-37. Note: The torque used in the assembly process should be balanced, and after the cross-section 8 injectors are installed, measure the distance from the center of the injector nozzle to the bottom plane of the cylinder head (as shown in Figure 3-38). Door 5 series diesel engine in the general type is 1.5 ~ 2.0mm, pressurized type is 2.5 ~ 3mm.
2. Assembly of piston connecting rod assembly of diesel generator set
Piston rod assembly assembly process
1 The piston rod assembly is completely cleaned with gasoline or diesel and dried. Then the piston is placed in an oven or oil and heated to about 110 degrees. Remove the piston and promptly insert the piston pin into the piston pin hole and connecting rod small head. In the hole, as shown in Figure 3-39. During the assembly process, pay attention to the relative position of the valve pit on the top of the piston and the large head of the connecting rod. Note: The assembly direction of the piston and connecting rod of the V diesel engine is the opposite of that of the inline diesel engine.
2 Assemble the lock spring on both sides of the piston pin, as shown in Figure 3-40.
3 After the piston is cooled, install the piston rings in turn with special tools. Do not assemble the piston ring with the assembly sequence of the gas ring and the oil ring.
4 Insert the connecting rod bush into the big hole of the connecting rod, as shown in Figure 2-25. Note: The new bearings can be interchanged, and the used bearings cannot be interchanged.
Three: The total assembly of the diesel engine
The total assembly work of the diesel generator set diesel engine is one of the important steps in the diesel engine repair work. Because the diesel engine has a complex structure, a large number of components, precise machining, and a tighter fit, the torque must be appropriate during the assembly process, and at the same time, the clearances and relative positions between the mechanical parts must be ensured, and moorings must be made. Water tightness test. For different types of diesel engines of different structures, the difference between them must be noted during assembly. The following takes the 4135 diesel engine as an example to introduce the basic steps and methods of the diesel engine assembly.
1. Assembly of curved flywheel assembly
The crankshaft flywheel assembly method is as follows:
1 Stand the body upright, with the flywheel end facing up, and then underneath it with a pad of sufficient height so that the body is vertical and not tilted.
2 Tighten the plug of the main oil passage plug, and then attach the flywheel housing gasket to the rear face of the machine body and install the flywheel housing.
2 Use a feeler gauge to check the radial clearance between the flywheel housing hole and the crankshaft flange, generally 0.4~0.6mm. The surrounding space should be uniform and the minimum clearance should not be less than 0.2mm.
4 After assembling a bearing outer ring lock spring, place the outer ring of the bearing into the bearing seat hole and use a special pressure plate and a metal rod to drive the outer bearing of the bearing, and then assemble a lock spring. Install all the main bearing periphery into the housing bore as described above.
2 Clean the crankshaft and main bearings and blow dry.
8 The special lifting ring is fixed on the rear flange of the crankshaft by two screws, and the crankshaft is lifted by a crane to ensure that the center of the crankshaft is coaxial with the bearing hole of the body, and the engine oil is applied on the cylindrical bearing, and the crankshaft is loaded into the shaft. . In order to install the crankshaft smoothly, the main bearings and the periphery must be carefully arranged, that is, the inner diameter of the outer circumference of the first bearing should be the largest, and each subsequent track should be gradually smaller, and the corresponding main bearing outer diameter should also be the first. One is the largest, and each subsequent passage becomes smaller. This assembly will not cause inconvenience to the assembly of the crankshaft due to the small size of the middle bearing room.
7 Put the diesel engine flat and move the engagement surface between the flywheel and the crankshaft flange clean. Then lift the takeoff wheel, align the positioning pin hole on the flywheel with the positioning pin hole on the crankshaft, and fix it through the flywheel with two long bolts symmetrically. After the bolt holes are connected with the crankshaft flange, lower the flywheel and push the flywheel against the flange by hand. After installation, remove the two newspapers and press the bolts, place the fuses, screw on the flywheel fixing bolts, and tighten them. When tightening bolts, force them evenly and tighten them 2-3 times in symmetrical order. Use a dial indicator to check the flying star on the end of the flywheel. The amount of beating must not exceed 0.1 mm. After the pass, the insurance sheet is locked.
